The Raiders have an outstanding program, having compiled a record of 1218-358 in 46 seasons of existence. We have won two national championships, one in 1979 and one in 1992. The Raiders have appeared in 17 NJCAA championship tournaments, with eleven top 5 finishes. Three Rivers Head Men's Basketball Coach and Athletic Director Gene Bess is a two-time National Coach of the Year. He has averaged almost 28 wins per season in his 43rd year as head coach. The Raiders have won the Missouri Region 16 tournament 22 times and also won the MCCAC (previously known as the MJCAC) championship 31 times during his tenure. The Raiders have one of the best winning traditions in junior college basketball.
