Chadd Phipps is in his eighth year at Three Rivers as Head Rodeo Coach. Phipps was born in Dalton, GA, and competed as a Professional Bull rider from 1998-2005. Among his accomplishments, Phipps won the PRCA Southeastern Circuit in bull riding in 2001, and qualified to the Dodge National Circuit Finals Rodeo in 2002. He competed in every rodeo event for the University of Tennessee at Martin from 1998-2001.

He has served as the Head Rodeo Coach of the University of West Alabama rodeo from 2006-2013. As the head coach at UWA, he took individuals to the College National Finals Rodeo during every year of his tenure; and won a National Title in the Calf Roping in 2013.
