The Three Rivers softball team picked up two more Region XVI wins Tuesday as the Raiders swept a doubleheader over Mineral Area at Rains Field by the scores of 10-4 and 10-6.
The Raiders move to 24-4 overall and 4-0 in MCCAC conference play.
After falling behind 3-0 in the first 2 1/2 innings, Three Rivers put five runs on the board in the bottom of the third, highlighted by a three-run homer by Kyla Puckett.
The Raiders added three more runs in the fourth on a double by Molly Spangler and Karlye Happold hitting a two-run home run.
Helena Garcia also hit a home run in the game as she cleared the fence to lead off the fifth.
Makenna Moore earned the win in the circle, giving up five hits.
In the nightcap, the Lady Raiders didn't mess around as they scored five in the bottom of the first and didn't look back.
Mineral Area (3-23, 1-9 MCCAC) put a three-run rally together in the seventh, but Makayla Bryant was able to shut the door and secure the sweep for the Raiders.
Three Rivers will be on the road Thursday at East Central.
