Coach Summer Shockley is beginning her 4th year as the pitching coach of the Lady Raiders.

Coach Shockley is an alumn of the 2017-18 Lady Raiders Softball program that made the NJCAA National Tournament for the first time in school history.  As a freshman, she earned the titles Region XVI Player of the Year, All Region XVI, and MCCAC All Conference.  Coach Shockley finished that season with 265 strikeouts and 26 wins.  After her freshmen year, she transferred to Mizzou to pitch and continue her education.

Coach Shockley graduated from Van Buren High School in Missouri.  She graduated from Mizzou in August of 2021 with her BS in Health Science and is now pursuing her MS in Athletic Administration.  Coach Shockley plans to remain in Poplar Bluff as the pitching coach and to compete in the National Tournament again.
