The Lady Raiders played won all three of their outings in the SWIC Jamboree in Belleville, Illinois, Sunday. “I thought it was pretty balanced all the way around,” head coach Jeff Walk said. “We’d have one girl who’d have a good game, and she’d be OK the next, then another girl would have a good game.” Walk said he was impressed with how his team was able to rebound the ball despite going up against some taller opponents. The Lady Raiders have a shorter group, so getting our in transition will be a key to success this season, something the team did well Sunday. “This is probably the fastest team I’ve ever had,” Walk said. The Lady Raiders have one more preseason outing at home at 6 p.m. Thursday against Williams Baptist.
