Three Rivers' secret weapon continued to strike Monday.

Holland had nine points in Monday's win against Eastern Oklahoma State.

It was her clutch 3 off a turnover that put the Raiders ahead for good in the final minute of play.

"I don't think very many teams (have a scouting report) because I'm just four games in. But I'm glad that they don't," Holland said after Monday's win. "The next game, I saw the other team sitting there, and I think it'll change."

After getting shoulder surgery during the preseason, Wiggs said the plan was to activate Holland in April. She recovered in time to debut in the regular-season finale.

This means there were only three game tapes in existence for Eastern Oklahoma State to scout Three Rivers' third-leading scorer. And in one of those games, she was quite rusty.

"I think she is one of those kids where 'Oh she's only played four games. Maybe she just got hot, maybe this, maybe that. And they don't realize that this girl can play," Three Rivers coach Alex Wiggs said.

Filled with adrenaline, Holland was 2 for 12 and 1 for 8 on 3-pointers for six points in her debut against Crowder, a 78-51 win by the Raiders.

With a week to prepare for the Region XVI semifinals, Holland returned to the court and led the team in scoring with 16 points. She was 4 for 6 on 3-pointers and 6 for 11 overall in 22 minutes off the bench. Three Rivers demolished Jefferson 103-37.

In the Region XVI championship, she had two huge plays in short succession against Moberly Area as Three Rivers won 78-76.

In the second quarter, she drove and finished a three-point play, soon after followed by a four-point play when she was fouled on a 3. The all-time leading scorer out of Licking High School scored 16 points in 13 minutes. She was 7 for 7 on free throws, 4 for 8 from the field, and 1 for 5 on 3s.

While it's a small sample size, Holland has yet to miss a free throw while wearing Three Rivers' black and yellow.
