Three Rivers College will be hosting a couple of Cheerleading Clinics. The Clinics will be held on February 23rd and March 21st. Clinics are open to all high school juniors, seniors, and college students interested in trying out for a college cheerleading squad. Our recruitment clinics are designed to bridge the gap between high school/All-Star cheerleading and college cheerleading. Athletes will have the opportunity to learn and try college-level skills in a safe and friendly environment with highly trained staff and current cheerleaders. Our goal is to help athletes safely become familiar with skills they will be asked to perform at a college tryout. In addition, athletes will get help and pointers on stunt techniques, tumbling, fitness, and more.
Athletes that attend this clinic are not obligated to Three Rivers College in any way. Our clinics are structured to prepare an athlete for college tryouts at TRC and other colleges and universities. Everyone is encouraged to come learn, have fun, and to get a step ahead for your collegiate tryout.
Clinics will be held in the Libla Family Sports Complex building using a 2 ¼ inch foam floor.
Staffed by the current and former Three Rivers Cheer Squad members and AACCA certified coach.
Stunting, tumbling, pyramids, basket toss instruction, discussion about college cheerleading, how to conduct yourself at a tryout interview, mascot tryout/preparation. and question and answers with the coach.
$20.00 clinic registration fee for 3-hour instruction and practice. Payment can be made the day of clinic.
