Standing in the on-deck circle, Cade Cancilla called his shot in the sixth inning Tuesday afternoon at Roger Pattillo Field.
Cancilla hit a three-run home run to cap a 9-2 Three Rivers win that started with a two-run, go-head homer by Charlie Parker in the first inning.
The Raiders earned a doubleheader sweep over East Central with a 7-3 win in the nightcap as Kolten Poorman and Bryson Luna each drove in three runs.
"It's good to see the bats come through a little bit," Three Rivers coach Tyler Smith said. "Our pitching and defense kind of been the name of the game where they've kept us in games and our offense has been a little slow.
"Today, we showed the ability to do some stuff."
The Raiders (13-14) had 19 hits between the two games and scored multiple runs in four innings. Poorman and Cancilla each had four hits in the doubleheader.
Meanwhile, the Three Rivers defense didn't give up a run after the third inning in each game.
Michael White earned the win in the opener while Sam Pierce tossed a pair of shutout innings before Noah Burkey added another.
Will Hathcote picked up the win in the second game, striking out four in two innings while allowing an unearned run. Jorden Eaton tossed two shutout innings with three strikeouts while Tyson Dias threw a shutout inning.
East Central scored first in both games but the Raiders answered each time.
In the opener, Cancilla doubled with one out in the first and scored on Poorman's hit. Palmer later hit a two-run homer for a 3-1 lead.
The Raiders led 3-2 in the fifth before Poorman hit an RBI double and Nolan Self followed with a two-run single.
The Raiders trailed by two runs when they first came to bat in the second game but Cancilla doubled and later scored.
Trailing 3-1 in the second, Logan McIntyre, Lane Crowden and Kole Turner each singled before Luna's two-run hit. Poorman later drove in a pair of runs with a two-out single.
Luna added an RBI single in the third while Poorman drove in a run in the fourth, his fifth RBI of the day.
"I'm excited we played well and hopefully we can continue it," Smith said.
The sweep snapped a six-game losing streak in which Three Rivers lost twice by a run.
The Raiders return to region play this weekend when they host sixth-ranked Crowder at noon both Saturday and Sunday.
