Zach McKenney is entering his 7th year of coaching at Three Rivers College.  Coach McKenney is a native of High Ridge, Missouri and graduated from Northwest High School in 2012.  McKenney spent his first two years of his college career at Three Rivers as an infielder.  After Three Rivers, Coach McKenney attended and played infield for the University of Missouri-St. Louis under the late NCAA coaching great Jim Brady.  While attending UMSL, McKenney graduated with a bachelor’s degree in History.  After his playing career, McKenney chose to begin his college coaching career at UMSL, where he spent two seasons as the hitting and infield coach. 

During his first two season at UMSL Coach McKenney led the Tritons to a .305 batting average.  The Tritons were in the top three in hitting categories in the GLVC and have five All-Conference picks.  In his first season at Three Rivers McKenney helped the Raiders become nationally ranked offensively in multiple categories.  In his three years the Raiders have had more than five All-Conference or All-Region picks.  Over the last three season Coach Smith and Coach McKenney have moved on over thirty players to universities in highly competitive baseball conferences such as, Sunbelt, Missouri Valley, Ohio Valley and SEC. 

Coach McKenney resides in Poplar Bluff with his wife Elizabeth and his two children.
