Raiders fall to second-ranked Logan

CARTERVILLE, Ill. — Three Rivers came up short on the road to John A. Logan on Friday with a 69-54 setback.

Keith Kiner recorded a double-double with a team-leading 18 points and 10 rebounds while Kinyon Hodges had 12 points and Paul Greene recorded 10 points. Greene was just shy of a double-double with nine rebounds to his credit.

The Raiders were behind at halftime as the Volunteers took a 43-22 lead at the break. Despite outscoring Logan in the second half 32-26, Three Rivers couldn't get over the hump as he Vols improved to 6-0.

Three Rivers (4-3) will host the 2021 Peoples Community Bank Thanksgiving Classic this week starting on Thursday as the Raiders will play against Otero College (Colo.) followed by a matchup with Southwest Tennessee Community College on Friday and finishing up Saturday against Northeastern Oklahoma A&M.

The Raiders, who had a three-game win streak snapped, lost to Logan 76-66 at home on Nov. 6.
