Bryan Sherrer is entering his 7th season as an assistant coach with Three Rivers.
Sherrer previously spent three season with Murray State University where they accumulated a record of 75-23. He helped the team to its highest national ranking, at #6 in the country, and a 31-2 record which was the university's best record in school history in 2011-12.
Sherrer has his hand in just about every area of the program including academics, community outreach, player development, film exchange, practice coordination, and camp coordination.
Sherrer started his college playing career at Three Rivers (2006-08), and was the team captain. In 2008, he was the NJCAA Region 16 Player of the Year and led the Raiders to the NJCAA Final Four and was named a NJCAA 1st Team All-American. He was also a team captain at South Alabama (2008-10) and ranked eighth in the nation in free throw percentage at 90.1 as a senior in 2010.
Sherrer was a student assistant at South Alabama while finishing his degree in organizational communication in 2011. He graduated with his master's degree at Murray State in human development and leadership in 2013.
A native of Monticello, AR, Sherrer was a three-time Arkansas All-State pick (2004-06) while playing for his father, Wayne, at Monticello High School.
