SEDALIA – No. 1 Three Rivers rolled right past State Fair on Saturday with an 83-43 win over the Lady Roadrunners on Saturday. The Raiders remain perfect this season improving to 24-0 overall and 12-0 in Region XVI play.
The offense was led by a 17-point night from Karlee Holland while Autumn Dodd had 14 points to her credit. Myia Yelder and Joi Montgomery both had double-doubles with Yelder recording 11 points and 11 assists while Montgomery had 11 points and 11 rebounds.
Three Rivers took control from the start with an 11-1 run in the first three minutes of the game and led State Fair (9-13, 6-8 XVI) 22-10 at the end of the first.
The Raiders started the second quarter with a 16-6 run to go up 38-16 with just over five minutes until halftime and they went into the locker room with a 52-22 advantage.
Three Rivers started the second half with a 12-4 run in the first five minutes of the third to extend their lead to 64-26 and still held a comfortable lead going into the fourth up 68-34. From there Three Rivers was able to seal the game away.
Three Rivers will be back home Wednesday as they'll take on Mineral Area at 5:00 p.m.
